Whirlpool Corporation, the nation’s leading manufacturer of major home appliances, selected The Pizzuti Companies to build and lease an 800,000-square-foot Factory Distribution Center (FDC) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Positioned next to a Whirlpool manufacturing plant, construction of the new warehouse has increased production capacity at one of Whirlpool’s core manufacturing assets. In addition, the warehouse further improved the company’s supply chain as it is centrally located among the company’s North American distribution centers.
The Tulsa project is just one of nearly 15 Whirlpool projects completed by Pizzuti. Since 2000, the companies have jointly developed over seven million square feet of industrial and office facilities throughout the country. The project portfolio includes a 1.6-million-square-foot Regional Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio, as well as a renovation of Whirlpool’s existing global headquarters and new development of their three-building corporate office campus in downtown Benton Harbor, Michigan.
